Vintage Server Sideboard – “Jasmine”

Reference #: DR0338

$650 (includes tax)

I have been eyeing this girl ever since the day we found her. I was trying to be discreet, hoping Mama Dustbin would not see my infatuation with it and maybe forget we had her, but no such luck. Mama never misses a thing, and rarely forgets. I tried to play stupid when she asked of her whereabouts.”Sideboard? Which Sideboard?” It didn’t help that we revived her matching “Sister” the China Cabinet named “Cinderella” last week, and Mama Dustbin reminded me of the sibling tucked away in storage. I tried, I really tried to keep her but as Mama is the sensible one she reminded me that I kept the last Sideboard that we did…and the last dresser, and a cedar chest. For some strange reason, Mama believes that to make a living at this painting game we can’t keep all of the furniture that we paint. She’s such a killjoy.

So with a broken heart, this 1925 Vintage Sideboard will be available for sale. I would appreciate it if you all ignore this post, forget that you have seen this beauty and keep on scrolling. I will then gladly swoop in and graciously offer to give her a home where she can live out her golden years. Since I must make a perceived effort to sell her and appease Mama, the details are below.

We have called her “Jasmine” – we couldn’t possibly name her after one of Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters, so we chose another Disney Princess. We lovingly sanded and stained her flawless top and then painted her body and trim work in Country Chic Paint Glass slipper. Her stunning and curvaceous legs were sanded and distressed, then treated to the same stain as her top. Her drawers are roomy and functional with pretty liners, and her cupboards are freshly oiled and ready for your wares, but it’s probably those ceramic drop handles that have caught you lookin’. The icing on the cake for sure!
